I noticed that the CONTRIBUTING.md was out of date and that when I dropped 3.9 from the test matrix, I never updated the setup.py. While I was refreshing the contribution guide, I went ahead and cleaned up the flake8 errors outside of the streamz subdirectory since they were small fixes and made the examples easier to read and understand.
